Item 1st I desire and direct that my body be buried in a manner suitable to my circumstances in life. Item 2nd I desire and direct that all my just debts be paid. Item 3rd I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Mary Ann Eliza Campbell my two Negroes, to wit, Cilla a woman about thirty _?_ years of age. Ned a man about twenty three years of age also my house and lot on the east side of the river opposite the city of Macon in what is called east Macon bounded on the south by the residence of Thomas Lightfoot and on the north by the residence and _?_ lot of David Flanders the east and west boundary not recollected containing two acres more or less also my piano _?_ together with all my household and kitchen furniture and all _?_ _?_ or evidences of _?_ _?_ at the time of my death. Item 4th I hereby give and bequeath to my daughter Emily _?_ and my daughter Eliza Cox each one dollar to be paid by my executor having hereto fore given them as much as I intended for them to have of my effects with the exception as above specified. Item 5th I hereby constitute and appoint my beloved wife Mary Ann Eliza Campbell executrix of this my last will and testament. John Campbell Signed sealer and declared and published by John Campbell as his last will and testament in the presence of us the subscribers who subscribed our names thereto in the presence of said testator (at his request) and each other this twenty seventh day of February in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and forty nine. Knott do solemnly swear that we saw John Campbell sign seal publish and declare this writing to be and contain his will and at the time thereof he was of sound disposing mind and memory and that he did it freely without compulsion to the best of our knowledge and belief and that we saw William L.
