I Willis Gammon of the County and State aforesaid being in my right mind and memory and calling to mind the certainty of death, I do make out and ordain this my last will and testament and what worldly goods God has been pleased to bestow on me I do wish to dispose of them in the following manner after paying all my just debts. I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Rebecca Gammon the hundred acres of land whereon I now live and all the household and kitchen furniture and my old Negro woman Mary and Elijah and Temfry(?) during her natural life and after her death to be equally divided amongst all my children and all the rest of my property to be sold and two hundred dollars in money I give out of the sale of the said property to my daughter Jane Dickey and two hundred dollars to my son Francis M. Gammon and then the rest to be equally divided between my three children Patsey Howe and Jane Dickey and Francis M. Gammon. I do ordain William Willis and my wife Rebecca Gammon my executors to this my will. I have hereunto set my hand and seal. Willis Gammon Milton Reviere Henry T. Woodall Thomas N. Woodall swear that we saw Willis GAmmon sign seal and publish and declare this writing to be and contain his last will and testament that at the time thereof he was of sound disposing mind and memory and that he did it freely without compulsion to the best of our knowledge so help us God. Woodall This 4th January 1841 Georgia Pike County We William Willis and Rebecca Gammon do solemnly swear that this writing contains the true last will and testament of the within named Willis Gammon so far as we know or believe and that we will well and truly execute the same by paying first the debts and then the legacies contained in the said will as far as his goods and chattels will thereunto extend and the law charge us and that we will make a true and perfect inventoy of all such goods and chattels.
