I Archibald Wadsworth of the county and state aforesaid being of advanced age and knowing that I must shortly depart this life deem it right and proper both as regards my family and myself that I should make dispositions of the property with which a kind Providence has blessed me do therefore make this my last will and testament hereby revoking all others heretofore made by me. 1st Item I desire and direct that my body be buried in a decent and Christian like manner my soul I trust shall return to God who gave it as I hope for salvation through the merits of the blessed Lord and savior Jesus Christ whose religion I have professed and as I have _?_ trust enjoyed for many years. 2 Item I desire and direct that all my just debts to be paid without delay by my executors hereafter appointed. 3rd Item I give and bequeath and devise to my daughter Clarisa fifty acres of my land including the houses where I now live and a part of lot 6 and 7 in the 8th district and five acres in the northwest corner of lot no. 7 in the seventh district all in the county of Pike to be laid off so as for it all to make fifty acres and _?_ _?_ _?_ _?_ _?_ together with all the cattle and hogs and all the kitchen furniture and one hundred dollars in cash and one hundred bushels of corn. 4th item I will and direct that all the rest of my property both real and personal whenever and whatever be sold and the proceeds thereof be equally divided among all my children, Clarisa excepted. 5th Item I will and desire that my servant Isaac be sold at private sale by my executors for a reasonable valuation. 6 Item I hereby constitute my beloved son John Wadsworth and my worthy friend John B. Jones executors to this my last will and testament this 13th day of January 1832 Archibald (his mark) Wadsworth Signed sealed and declared and published by Archibald Wadsworth as his last will and testament in the presence of us who subscribe our names hereto in the presence of said testator at his special _?_ and request and of each other this the 13th day of January AD 1832. Jones do solemnly swear that we saw Archibald Wadsworth sign seal by making his mark and heard him publish and declare this writing to be and contain his will and at the time thereof he was of sound disposing mind and memory and that he did it freely without compulsion to the best of our knowledge and belief. And we do further swear that we saw Thomas C. Fisher and Eli Wadsworth sign the same as witnesses in our presence and in the presence of the Testator and that we signed the same at the instance and request of the Testator. W.R. Jones G.L. State of Georgia Pike County I John Wadsworth do solemnly swear that this writing contains the true last will and testament of Archibald Wadsworth deceased as far as I know or believe and that I will well and truly execute the same by paying first the debts and then the legacies contained in said will as far as his goods and chattels will thereunto extend and the law charges me and that I will make a true and perfect inventory of all such goods and chattels so help me God.
