But being well thicken in years and knowing the uncertainty of life Do make and publish this my last testament in form following that is to say 1st I will and bequeath all my wearing apparel and bed clothes to my eight daughters to be divided equally. 2nd I will and bequeath to my granddaughter Seley M. Coulter a part of my household furniture that is to say, one wheel & cards one table one small pot one small oven with what cups & saucers and earthen plates I am possessed of also one heifer near two years old mostly white but somewhat brindle about the head and neck called Peg. 3rd All my other property which I have accumulated since the death of my husband I will and bequeath that it be equally divided amongst my twelve children that is to say four sons and eight daughters and my Son Levi Martin I hereby appoint my sole executor of this my last Will & Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this thirtieth day of December one thousand eight hundred & twenty nine, signed sealed & acknowledged in presence of us Jacob Martin Wm Martin Moses Pitman [?] Mary Martin Her mark Georgia Pike County You Jacob Martin, William Martin & Moses Pitman swear that we saw Mary Martin sign seal publish & declare this writing to be & contain her last will & testament That at the time thereof, she was of sound disposing mind & memory. And that she did it freely without compulsion to the best of your knowledge, so help you God. This the 1st July 1833 Jacob Martin Wm Martin Moses Pitman H. G. [?] Johnson C. C. O. Georgia Pike County I Levi Martin do solemnly swear that this writing contains the true last will of the within named Mary Martin deceased so far as I know or believe & that I will well & truly execute the same by paying first the debts & then the legacies contained in the said will as far as her goods & chattels will thereunto extend & the law charge me & that I will make a true & perfect inventory of all such goods & chattels so help me God this 1st July 1833 H.
