Rome, Floyd Co., Georgia November 25, 1862, page 2 Administrator's Sale. By virtue of an order of the Court of Ordinary for Polk County, Ga., will be sold on the first Tuesday in February next before the Court House door in Cedar Town within the lawful hours of sale, the following property, viz: A tract of Land containing 200 acres more or less, consisting of Lots Nos. 60, 61, 104, 143, west half of 59, west half of 105, in 1st dist. and 4th sec. of Polk county, adjoining the lands of Jas. Witcher, A. R. Brooks and others-about 100 acres cleared, with a creek running through the place. Also at the same time and place, the following negroes, to wit: Sheppard, a man 48 years old; Vann, a man 35 years old; Emma a house girl 13 years old; Lizzie a girl 16 years old; Eliza, 14 years old; George, a boy 12 years old; Mary 11 years old; John 7 years old; Jim, 4 years old; Davey, 2 years old-Aggie, a cook and washer about 42 years old and her infant child Albert.
