Atha Louise Brock Allen, 91, of 1847 Cedartown Highway, Rockmart, passed away 
Monday, Mar. 24, 2003. She was born Feb. 21, 1912 in Cedartown. A retired 
homemaker, she was a member of the Union Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded 
in death by her parents, Richard and Annie Ruth Grimes Brock, and her husband, 
Milton Woodrow Allen. Survivors include sons, Lee Allen of Centerville, GA, 
Jerry and James Allen, both of Cedartown; daughter, Carolyn James of Rockmart; 
brothers, Garland and Tom Brock, both of Cedartown, and Abner Brock of 
Rockmart; sister, Rebecca Yearly of Temple; 9 grandchildren, 14 great-
grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were 
conducted Wednesday, March 26 at 3 p.m. at the Chapel of the Freeman Harris 
Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan McMillian, Rev. Delton Harne and Rev. Danny 
Rhodes officiating. Interment followed in Greenwood Cemetery in Cedartown. 
Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. The Cedartown
