The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, March 2004
Louise McWhorter Bishop, 90, of Douglasville, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 
2004. She is survived by: two sons, Melvin D. McWhorter of San Antonio, Texas 
and Joel McWhorter of Douglasville. Four grandchildren and several great-
grandchildren also survive. The funeral service was held Friday, March 5, at 11 
a.m. at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel. Burial followed at 2:30 p.m. in the 
Northview Cemetery in Cedartown. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to 
The Atlanta Hospice Center, 1244 Park Vista Drive, Atlanta, Ga., 30319. 
Hightower’s Memorial Chapel had charge of the arrangements. (The Cedartown
