The Cedartown Standard, December 25, 1919
MR. W. Y. BLACKMON OF POLK COUNTY, GEORGIA DIES.  Mr. W. Y. Blackmon, aged 73 
years, of Antiock, Polk County, Georgia, dies at the home of his dauther, Mrs. 
Della (Blackmon) Davis (Mrs. Dorsie Davis).  He was a good citizen of the 
Antiock community where he had lived for many years.  He is survived by his 
wife, Fannie F. (Johnson) Blackmon.   Interment was at the Old Stewart 
Cemetery, Antiock, Georgia.   

Additional Comments:
The name of the father of the deceased is not know.  Only the surname of his 
mother is known, which is "Phillips".
