FANNIE F. BLACKMON HELD. Final rites for Mrs. Fannie F. Blackmon (Mrs. W. Y. Blackmon), who died on April 4, 1934, were held at the home of her dauther, Mrs. Della (Blackmon) Davis (Mrs. Dorsie Davis), where she had lived for many years. She was the daughter of the late William Johnson and the late Harriet Wheeler, both of DeKalb County, Georgia. Mrs. Blackmon was preceded in death by her husband, the late W. Y. Blackmon, who died on December 17, 1919. She is survived by one son, W. O. Blackmon of Lithonia, Georgia and by two daughters, the said Mrs. Della (Blackmon) Davis and Miss Mattie Blackmon, both of the Antiock Community in Polk County, Georgia. 16 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren also survive her. Services were officiated by the pastor of her church, the Rev. B. M. Moon, assisted by the Rev. Henry Womack of Lindale, Georgia, and the Rev. J. A. Dean of Buchanan, Georgia. Interment was at the Old Stewart Graveyard near Antiock. Mrs. Blackmon was a beloved woman who is bereaved by her family and many friends of the community.
