Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA., December 18, 2003
Nora Juanita Brooks, 74, of 118 George West Road, passed away Friday, Dec. 12. 
She was born Sept. 26, 1929 in Cherokee County, Ala. She was preceded in death 
by her husband, Robert Earl Brooks Sr. and parents, George Thomas Osborne and 
Dessa McMichen Osborne. Survivors include: son, Robert Earl Brooks Jr.; sister, 
Sylvia Lawrence; brother, Paul Osborne; and two grandchildren. Funeral services 
were conducted Sunday, Dec. 14, at 4 p.m., from the Chapel of the Gammage 
Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Brown and Rev. James Guy officiating. Interment 
followed in the Greenwood Cemetery. Gammage Funeral Home had charge of the
