January 19, 2007, 10:36 am The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, February 06, 2003 Harrison Everett (Pete) Brumbelow, 75, of 5 Elm St., Aragon, passed away Thursday, Jan. 30, 2003, at his residence. He was born Aug. 8, 1927, in Polk County. He was a retired Lockheed employee with 34½ years of service and a U.S. Coast Guard veteran of WWII. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy (Dot) Chandler Brumbelow; parents, George Tinsley and Endie Sullins Brumbelow; brother, Milton Brumbelow. Survivors include sons, Ronnie, Terry and Denny Brumbelow, all of Rockmart; daughter, Kelly Fennell of Rockmart; sisters, Allie Garrison of Aragon and Evelyn Owens of Ringgold; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday, February 1 at 2 p.m. from the Freeman Harris Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Swift officiating. Interment followed in Aragon Cemetery. Pallbearers were Mike Bishop, Lee Bishop, Johnny Woods, Eddie Goss, Chris Culver, Wally Redmond, Randy Goss and Michael Leatherwood. Fellow Lockheed employees served as honorary pallbearers. Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
