Stephens stephens2247@bellsouth.net January 25, 2007, 12:00 pm The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, April 17, 2003 Allie Belle Shelley Chambers, 98, of 627 Crossroads Church Rd., Yorkville Community, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2003. She was born in Paulding County on Aug. 15, 1904. She was a member of the Yorkville Baptist Church and retired as a supervisor from Ru-Nel Manufacturing Company of Yorkville, following sixty years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Grady Chambers; her parents, Lee and Nancy Davis Shelley; brothers, Heslip and Mercer Shelley; sisters, Mary Shelley, Joetta Carter, Myrtle Driskell and Ruth Wyton. Survivors include 13 nieces and nephews and a number of great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 12, at 2 p.m. in the Yorkville Baptist Church with Rev. L.A. Tapp officiating. Interment followed in Yorkville Cemetery. Pallbearers were Sam Walker, Joey Kane, Michael Kane, Nichols McDonald, David Wyton, and Michael Wyton. The Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
