Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA., November 04, 2003
Sarah Judson Carter Childers, 82, of Aragon Rd., Aragon, passed away Saturday, 
Oct. 25, 2003. She was born in Floyd County and was a lifelong member of this 
area. She was retired from Shaw Industries and was a member of Oakridge Baptist 
Church as well. She was preceded in death by: husband, Sam A. Childers Jr.; 
brothers, James and Will Carter; and grandson, Jacob. Survivors include: sons, 
Judson Childers of Rockmart and Maynon Childers of Aragon; and daughters, Judy 
Strickland of Cedartown and Faye Streetman of Aragon. Funeral services were 
held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Oakridge Baptist Church with the Revs. Archie 
Streetman and Charles Suttong officiating. Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in
