The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA., October 30, 2003
Sarah Childers, 82, of 5 Aragon Rd., Aragon, died Oct. 25, 2003. Ms. Childers 
was born in Floyd County and was a lifelong member of the area. She was retired 
from Shaw Industries and was a member of the Oakridge Baptist Church. She was 
preceded in death by husband, Sam A. Childers Jr., and brothers, James and Will 
Carter. Survivors include: sons, Judson Childers of Rockmart and Maynon 
Childers of Aragon; and daughters, Judy Strickland of Cedartown and Faye 
Streetman of Aragon. The family received friends Monday evening at the Freeman 
Harris Funeral Home in Rockmart. Freeman Harris Funeral Home of Rockmart was in
