The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, January 23, 2003
Laura Chupp, 97, of Chattanooga, Tenn., formerly of Rockmart and Calhoun, died 
Sunday, Jan. 12, 2003, in Chattanooga, Tenn., she was born Oct. 1, 1905, in 
Haralson County, Ga. She was a retired grocery store clerk and a member of 
Belmont Baptist Church in Calhoun and formerly a member of Second Baptist 
Church of Rockmart. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel William 
and Delia Susan McMillian Chupp. She is survived by her sisters, Janie Carroll 
of Chattanooga, TN., Sally Byram of Rockmart. The graveside services were held 
Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2003 at 11 a.m. from the Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. David 
Warriner officiating. Interment followed in Rose Hill Cemetery. Freeman Harris 
Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
