Stephens stephens2247@bellsouth.net October 9, 2006, 11:55 am Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, October 16, 2003 Lillian Hayes Phillips Coker, passed away Sunday, Oct. 5, at the Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville after an extended illness. She was born June 19, 1924 in Polk County. She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henley and Effie Hayes and her husbands, Howard Forrest Phillips and Sherman Coker of Adairsville. Mrs. Coker is survived by: son, Howard H. Phillips of Hartselle, Ala.; daughter, Vivian McNeal of Lawrenceville; sons, Glenn Phillips of Cedartown and Stephen Phillips of Bethany, Ok.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services were held Tuesday, Oct. 7 at Northview Cemetery with Roger Hiltbrand officiating. Memorial services were held at Grayson Kingdom Hall in Lawrenceville on Wednesday, Oct. 8, with Bob Standish officiating. The Gammage Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
