The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, November 20, 2003
Joel “J.C.” Coley, 69, of Milledgeville and formerly of Cedartown, passed away 
Nov. 14, 2003. He was born in Polk County and was a member of Apostle 
Pentecostal faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Drey Smith 
Coley, sons, Danny and Joel Coley and eight siblings. Survivors include: sons, 
Thomas Coley, Ronnie Coley, Darrell Coley, Ronnie Coley, Donnie Coley, C.J. 
Coley and Scott Taylor; and daughters, Susan McAlester, Darlene Welchel, Evelyn 
Holder, Brandy Outz and Kimberly Barnett. Graveside services for J.C. Coley 
were conducted Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 2 p.m. in the Rest Haven Cemetery with the 
Rev. Ronnie Coley officiating. The Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home was in charge
