The Rockmart Journal, Rockmart, GA, January 2004
Mr. Comstock, 103, 148 Cason Rd., Cedartown, formerly of Rockmart, died January 
21, 2004. Mr. Comstock was born January 27, 1900 in Vancouver, Canada, son of 
the late Mr. and Mrs. Haratio Comstock. He was of the Baptist Faith and worked 
in transportation as a mechanic. He was preceded in death by wife, Mattie 
Stinnett Comstock. Surviving are sons, Louis Comstock, Rockmart, Herbert Allen 
Comstock, Griffin, GA; daughter, Barbara Balliew, Peachtree City, GA; 10 
grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren. The 
family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. Freeman Harris 
Funeral Home had charge of arrangements. (The Rockmart Journal, Rockmart, GA)
