The Rockmart Journal, Rockmart, GA., April 7, 2004
Mr. Donald Hugh Davis Sr., 75, Sylacauga, AL, died March 28, 2004. Mr. Davis 
was a veteran of the navy during WWII. He was a retired minister, serving the 
Church of Christ all across the Southeast for over 51 years. He was preceded in 
death by first wife, Gladys Davis. Surviving are wife, Jeannine Clifton Davis, 
Sylacauga, AL; children, Don Davis, Rincon, GA, Rachel Ann Wilson, Rock-mart, 
Lyndia Ruth Blanton, Decatur, AL, Rebecca Jane Deason, Decatur, AL; four step 
children; three brothers; three sisters; nine grandchildren; nine great 
grandchildren. The funeral service was conducted at 10 a.m. March 30, 2004 at 
Marble City Baptist Church with Minister Donald Hugh Davis Jr. and Rev. Tommy 
Reaves officiating. A graveside service was held at 3 p.m. at Bethel Baptist 
Cemetery in Graceville, Florida. Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel had
