The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA., October 30, 2003
Sproull Harris Davis, 88, of 1166 Davistown Rd., Taylorsville, passed away 
Thursday Oct. 23, 2003. She was born in Polk County and was a retired Goodyear 
employee with 35 years service. She was a member of Floyd Creek Baptist Church. 
She was preceded in death by husband, Fred Rhodes Davis, parents, Charles 
Franklin and Clara Sproull Harris, and six brothers and four sisters. Survivors 
include: son and daughter-in-law, Buddy and Bobbie Davis of Taylorsville; 
daughters, Nancy Richards and Sara Ann Evans, both of Taylorsville; and sisters 
Wilma Kay of Buchanan, Pearl Reed of Loganville and Leola Williams of Rome. 
Funeral services were held Oct. 25, at Floyd Creek Baptist Church with Rev. 
Roger Fisher and Rev. Tommy Harris officiating. Interment followed in the Floyd 
Creek Cemetery. Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
