Ora L. Davis, 89, of 75 Judkin Mill Road, Cedartown, passed away Wednesday, 
Jan. 29, 2003. She was born Nov. 29, 1913 in Haralson County and was a member 
of Union Grove Baptist Church of Felton. She was preceded in death by her 
parents, William Wesley and Dora Cason Leatherwood, and her husband, Lovie 
Davis. Survivors include sons, Jimmy Davis of Felton and Junior and James 
Davis, both of Cedartown; daughters, Nell Anderson and Annette Lyle, both of 
Cedartown; brother, W.L. Leatherwood of Buchanan; sister, Bertie Mae Lee of 
Cedartown; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 
conducted Friday, Jan. 31 at 2 p.m. in the Union Grove Baptist Church in 
Felton. Rev. Bobby Wood and Rev. Ralph Ploof officiated. Interment followed in 
the Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jeff Davis, James 
Anderson, Joseph Anderson, Greg Hopkins, Craig Colson and Douglas Rice. 
Honorary pallbearers were Scott Rice, Rodger Davis and Abel Lucas. The Lester 
C. Litesey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. (The Cedartown
