The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, March 13, 2003
Jewell Dean, 83, of 1041 Sixth Street Rd., Cedartown, passed away Wednesday, 
March 4, 2003. She was born May 25, 1919 in Cleburne County, Ala. She was 
preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Martha Robinson Chandler, and her 
husband, George Washington Dean. Survivors include: daughter, Anne Brown; sons, 
John and Buddy Dean; sister, Nora Jones; nine grandchildren, and 10 great 
grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, March 6 at 3 p.m. in 
the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Tucker officiating. 
Interment followed in Northview Cemetery. Gammage Funeral Home was in charge of
