She had been a member of our church at Cedartown for a number of years, and up to the time of her last illness was one of our most valued workers. In the last few months of her life she gained a clear concception of the plan of salvation, such as she had never enjoyed before, and saw she was saved through Christ. Her trust in Jesus was beautiful and complete, and her death triumphant. Sister Dodds had many lovely traits of character which endeared her to a very large circle of freinds. She loved her church, her pastor, and her Sunday-school class earnestly. She was a faithful and loving wife and mother. Young in years, beautiful in person, attractive in her manners, and in possession of all the comforts of life, there was much in life for her to want to live for, but God saw fit to call her away. The summons found her ready, she was ready and willing to go. All who knew her feel sure that she has gone to be with the blessed Saviour she had learned to love so well. She leaves a stricken husband and one dear child to find comfort in the thought that their loss is her everlasting gain. Pastor.
