The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, April 03, 2003
Larry C. Duke, 59, of 814 Proctor Rd. in the Yorkville Community passed away 
Tuesday, Mar. 25, 2003. He was born Nov. 29, 1943 in Paulding County. He was 
preceded in death by his father, William Edward “Pete” Duke; paternal 
grandparents, Henry and Maude Duke, and maternal grandfather, Clarence Leggett. 
Survivors include his wife, Joan Duke; sons, David Duke of Cedartown and Allen 
Duke of Rockmart; daughters, Dari Roberson of Macon and Nena Brooks of Dublin; 
mother, Geraldine Duke of Rockmart; maternal grandmother, Lois Bearden of 
Yorkville. Graveside services were conducted Friday, March 28, at 2:30 p.m. at 
the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. J.T. Hollingshed officiated, and 
interment followed. Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
