The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA., February 19, 2004
Marietta P. Durham, 89, of Buchanan, formerly of Polk County, passed away 
Thursday, Feb. 12, 2004. She was born May 9, 1914 in Polk County. She was 
preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Anna Dooley Powell. Survivors 
include: daughters, Nancy D. Schauer of Midway and Anna D. Hastings of 
Lexington Park, Md.; and son, W. Steve Durham of Rockmart. Five grandchildren 
and two great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were conducted 
Sunday, Feb. 15, at 3 p.m. from the Chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with 
Rev. Neal Brown officiating. Interment followed at New Prospect Cemetery. 
Pallbearers were Jeffery S. Durham, Joe Collier, Bobby Collier, Jerry Collier, 
David Collier and Terry Collier. Gammage Funeral Home had charge of the
