Stephens stephens2247@bellsouth.net October 9, 2006, 12:49 pm Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA., September 03, 2003 Linda Oda Tant Eaves, 50, of 30 ½ Blue Hole Road, Rockmart ,passed away Saturday, Aug. 23, 2003. She was born June 16, 1953 in Polk County and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Rockmart Church of God, where she was a member of the choir and a Sunday School teacher when her health permitted. She was preceded in death by her father, Alvin Tant, and a sister, Margie Hammonds. Survivors include daughter, Crystal Eaves Davis of Rockmart; sons, Joshua Eaves and Kenneth Eaves, both of Rockmart; mother, Millie Williams Tant of Rockmart; sisters, Shirley Mullinax and Robbie Streetman, both of Rockmart; brothers, Edger Tant and Richard Tant, both of Rockmart; one granddaughter and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, August 24 in the sanctuary of the Rockmart Church of God at 3 p.m. with Rev. Ed Pasley officiating. Interment followed in the Rockmart Memory Gardens. Pallbearers were Jeff Dunn, Shane Streetman, Darren Hammonds, Scott Tant, Joey Wingo and Steve Gamel. The Freeman Harris Funeral home was in charge of the arrangements.
