Stephens stephens2247@bellsouth.net January 25, 2007, 9:06 pm The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, June 18, 2003 John William Faber, 71, of 633 West Ave., Cedartown, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2003. He was born March 24, 1932 in Apollo, Penn., to the late Joseph and Wilma Jenkins Faber. He was a member of the St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church, was was retired from the military, serving in both the Navy and Air Force. He served during both the Korean and Vietnam conflicts. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sons, Steven Michael Faber and John Chris Faber. Survivors include his wife, Brenda; son, Thomas Wayne Bell; daughters, Terry Stewart and Diana Cochran; brothers, Franklin and Ernest Faber; eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Mass was said on Tuesday, June 10, at 1 p.m. from St. Bernadette’s with Father Rafael Castano officiating. Interment followed in Northview Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the Brewster Cleveland Post 86 of Cedartown. Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
