Glenda Scoggins Fitzpatrick, 63, of 6434 Alabama Hwy., Ider, Ala., formerly of 
Rockmart, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2003. She was born in Floyd County, 
daughter of the late Katie Bishop Scoggins and the late Clifford Scoggins. She 
was employed as a nurse in the office of Dr. Jerry Weaver of Cedartown for many 
years. She was also a member of Live Oak Baptist Church. Survivors include her 
husband, Doyle Fitzpatrick; daughter, Cynthia Jean Fitzpatrick; son, Dennis 
Fitzpatrick; sisters, Blanche Sullivan, Sue Bradshaw, Margie Knowles, and 
Francis Arp; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services 
were conducted Tuesday, May 27 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the Freeman Harris 
Funeral Home with Rev. Hoyt Lewis officiating. Interment followed in the Live 
Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of the
