Mrs. Olene O’Kelley Forrester, 93 of 702 Goodyear St., Rockmart, died Thursday, 
November 21, in Seasons Rehabilitation Nursing Home formerly Starcrest of 
Conyers. She was born March 4, 1909, in Newton County. She was a former 
Goodyear employee and a member of the Rockmart First Pentecostal Church. She 
was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Edgar L. Forrester, parents, James W. 
and Eunice Hawkins O’Kelley, and daughter, Carolyn Loette Campbell. She is 
survived by her sons Ronnie Forrester of Forest Park and Wayne and daughter-in-
law Barbara Forrester of Conyers and brother, Paul O’Kelley of Cedartown. She 
is also survived by six grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and eight great-
great grandchildren. The funeral service was held Saturday, Nov. 23, from the 
funeral home chapel with Rev. Gary Livingston and Bishop Jerry Stephens 
officiating. Interment followed at Polk Memory Gardens. Pallbearers were: Don 
Forrester, Todd Wright, Jayson Wright, Sam E. Hicks, Jr., Sam E. Hicks III and 
Jonathan Forrester. Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of the
