Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, Ga., December 17, 2002
James R. “Jr.” Frady, 54 of 575 Branch Rd., passed away Wednesday, December 11. 
He was born March 26, 1948. He served in the Marine Corps in Vietnam and 
received the Purple Heart. He was preceded in death by his parents, Webster M. 
Frady and Lillie Mae Witt Frady Gilbreath, brothers Eernie Frady, Gordon Frady, 
Eugene Frady and Webster Frady, Jr. Survivors include: wife, Shirley Frady; 
daughters Tammy Ridgeway, Lori Cook, Marie Ledford; son, James Casey Frady; 
brothers Leon, William and Roy Frady; sisters Cora Bell Collier, Kathy 
Rountree; and nine grandchildren. Funeral services were held Friday, December 
13, from the Youngs Grove Baptist Church, with Brother Bobby Wood and Brother 
Joey Martin officiating. The interment followed in the Youngs Grove Church 
cemetery, with full military rites conducted by the US Marine Corps of Rome. 
Pallbearers were: Paul Rountree, Kye Watson, Shannon Pivett, Rodney Tidwell and 
Michael Bryant, with Chris Floyd, Chad Floyd and Eugene Brown serving as the 
honorary pallbearers. The Gammage Funeral Home was in charge of the
