The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, April 17, 2003
Mary Frances Froysland, 75, of 244 Houseal St., Cedartown passed away Saturday, 
April 12, 2003 at her residence. She was born Aug. 27, 1927 in Cherokee County, 
AL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Mitchell Hinton and Bertie 
Mae Hinton. Survivors include her husband, Merle W. Froysland; son, Edward 
Mitchell Strickland; sister, Thelma Bedford; brothers, Edward and Norris 
Hinton; 2 grandchildren. 
Graveside services were conducted Monday, April 14, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Rodney 
Ragsdale officiating. Interment followed at Bethel Cemetery in Forney, AL. 
Donations may be made to the Hyman Hospice or the American Cancer Society. 
Gammage Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. (The Cedartown
