Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, December 16, 2003
Willard Alford Garmon, 73, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 25. He was born May 30, 
1930 in Jacksonville, Ala. and was retired from Shaw Industries. Mr. Garmon was 
preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Jean Roberts Garmon, parents, Rev. and 
Mrs. Lee Garmon, of Piedmont, Ala., and brother, Forney L. Garmon of Cedartown. 
Survivors include: son, Dennis Garmon of Middleburg, Fla.; brother, James 
William Garmon of Jacksonville, Ala.; sisters, Betty Pruitt of Piedmont, Ala. 
and Juilene Denton of Center, Ala.; and grandson, Michael Garmon. Nieces and 
nephews also survive. Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 29, at 2 p.m. 
from the Lester C. Litsey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Curtis Allbritten 
officiating. Interment followed at Northview Cemetery. Lester C. Litsey Funeral
