Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA., September 16, 2003
Betty Jean George, 64, of Oxford passed away Sept. 8, 2003. Survivors include 
her husband, R.G. George; daughters, Melissa Sanders of Covington, Carol 
Ledford of Jackson, Linda Carter of Oxford; sons, Toby Ricks of Covington, 
Steve Ricks of Conyers, Ronnie George of Jackson, David George of Oxford; 
sisters, Dot Ely of Sylvester, Diane Stroup, Denese Peace, both of Cedartown; 
brothers, Eddie Stroup of Summerville, Gary Stroup of Cedartown; 12 
grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. 
Funeral services were conducted Thursday, Sept. 11 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of 
the Henry Funeral Home. Interment followed in Lawnwood Memorial Park in 
Covington. The Henry Funeral Home in Lithonia was in charge of the
