The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA., February 2004
Calvin Lewis “Bibby” Gibbons, 77, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2004 in 
Greensboro, NC. He was born June 21, 1927 in Floyd County. He was preceded in 
death by his parents, Fred and Eunice Green Gibbons. Survivors include his 
former wife, Elizabeth Gibbons of Rome; daughters, Barbara Gibbons Ford of 
Euharlee, Bonnie Gibbons McCombs of Marietta and Eunice Gibbons of Cleveland, 
Ohio; and a number of grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Funeral services 
were held Monday, February 23 at 3 p.m. in Greensboro. Browns Funeral Home of 
Greensboro was in charge of the arrangements. Wright Memorial Mortuary, Inc. of 
Rome makes the announcement for the family. (The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown,
