She was born to the late Russell and Ruth Leaks on Dec. 7, 1929. She was a devoted member of Cedar Spring Baptist Church for many years. She served on the Mothers Board, Usher Board and Kitchen Ministry. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Grant L. Glanton Sr.; three daughters, Sarah Siglar of Triangle, Va., Leticia Lronkwe of Wilmington, Del., and Florence Johnson of McIntosh, Ala.; two sons, Ernest Phillips of Cedartown and Grant Glanton Jr. of Cave Spring; two sisters, Isabelle Green and Mrs. Bernice West Sr., both of Cedartown; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews. Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 9 at 2 p.m. at Cedar Spring Baptist Church, with Pastor Lewis Clark officiating. Interment followed in Polk Memory Gardens. F. K. Jones Funeral Director had charge of the arrangements.
