Jimmy Raymond Goddard, 40, of 578 Lane St. Rockmart, died Friday, July 11, 2003 
in a Rome Medical Center following a sudden attack. He was born on Nov. 26, 
1962, a son of Horace James Goddard and the late Betty Ann Hulsey Goddard. He 
was of the Baptist faith and attended Calvary Baptist Church. He was a former 
employee of Hitchcock Metals of Rockmart. He is survived by a son, Patrick 
James Goddard,; father, Horace J. Goddard, brother, Danny Ray Goddard all of 
Rockmart; sister, Susan Mullins and her husband Clarence Marietta, fiancé, 
Serena Kirby, Aragon. Funeral services were held Sunday, July 13 at 3 p.m. in 
the Chapel of the Alvis Miller and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Dyer, 
Rev. Charles Drummond and Rev. Tim Deems officiating. Interment followed in 
Rose Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers included: Dewayne Koone, Joe Ed Stringer, Ralph 
Bowman, Jason Williams, Lee Cummings, Allen Bowman and Rodale Bowman. The Alvis 
Miller and Son Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements. (The Cedartown
