Stephens stephens2247@bellsouth.net October 12, 2006, 11:01 am Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA., November 25, 2002 Charles Clayton Gray, 58, of 401 Eastern Ave., Tallapoosa, passed away Monday, Nov. 11, 2002. He was born Sept. 22, 1945 in Cleburne County, Alabama, and served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy C. Gray, and his brother, Billy Ray Gray. Survivors include: mother, Eva Lucille Buttram Gray; daughter, Suzanne Gray; son, Richio Gray; sisters, Claudie Hughes and Alice Dunn, special friends James and Jackie Mullins and Michael and Susan Burgess, and three granddaughters. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 2 p.m. from Miller Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Williams officiating. Music was provided by Valeria McWhorter and Tammy Miller. Pallbearers were J.W. Chandler, Bobby Bell, Billy Sharpton, Michael Burgess, Brian Burgess, and Jackie Slaughter. Miller Funeral Home of Tallapoosa was in charge of the arrangements.
