(The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, Ga, Tuesday, July 9, 1963) 
Mrs. Maggie Sanford, 76, of Rockmart Rt. 1, died Saturday.  She was born in 
Paulding County, Jan. 17, 1887, a daughter of the late Harrison and Sallie 
Kiser Lindsey.  She was a member of Morning View Baptist Church.  Survivors 
are: one son: J. H. of Rockmart; two brothers: Lester and George Lindsey both 
of Cedartown; two sisters: Mrs. Dan Baines, and Mrs. Horace Hatfield, both of 
Rockmart; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive.  Funeral 
services were held Sunday at 3 p.m. from Prospect Baptist Church with the Rev. 
Jake Cash and the Rev. Grover Cook officiating.  Interment was in the 
churchyard cemetery.  Pallbearers were: Bob Witt, Elmo Pepper, J.R. Quick, Pat 
Jenkins, Frank and Audie Rayburn.  Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of
