Cedartown Standard, Thursday, December 6, 1917
Miss Bertha Dean, of VanWert, died Thursday and was laid to rest in the New 
Prospect cemetery Friday afternoon. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and 
Mrs. Jas. Dean, Sr., and several brothers and sisters. Rev. J. Davis, of 
Antioch, conducted the funeral services. The bereaved family have our heart 
felt sympathy.
