Mrs. Bessie Mae Hunt, 88, died Sunday evening at a Rome health-care center.  A 
native of Haralson County, Mrs. Hunt was born June 15, 1906, daughter of the 
late Dr. John F. Cobb and Sara Winkles Cobb.  She was a longtime resident of 
Floyd County.  She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and was 
married to Paul P. Hunt, who preceded her in death, 1963.  Survivors include; 
nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel 
of Daniel’s Funeral Home with Dr. William Flannagan officiating.  Interment 
will be at East View Cemetery. (Rome News Tribune, Rome, GA., Monday April 3,
