Mrs. Annie Jones Crook, 44, of Rockmart passed away in an Atlanta hospital 
Tuesday.  Mrs. Crook was born in Bartow County April 23, 1923, a daughter of 
the late Santha and Hattie Garrett Jones.  Surviving are: her husband -- J.C. 
Crook of Rockmart; three brothers -- Brady Jones of Rome, Jake and Santha Jones 
both of Molton, Ala.; three sisters -- Mrs. Mattie Bell Edwards and Miss 
Arbutas Jones both of Rome and Mrs. Hattie Lou Pollard of Detroit, Mich.  
Funeral services were held Sunday at 3 p.m., from the Piedmont Avenue Baptist 
Church with the Rev. McCay, the Rev. Davis and the Rev. Carl Johnson 
officiating.  Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.  Freeman Harris Funeral Home of 
Rockmart was in charge of arrangements.  (The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown,
