Buddy York, Rev. L. A. Smith and Rev. Gordon Chandler officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Roberts Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Tanner had been a member of Salem Church for many years and was noted for her kindness to the sick and needy. She is survived by one son, Mackey Maples, and five grandchildren, all of Cedartown; one sister, Mrs. Susie Duke, of Atlanta.
