Mr. Daniel (Webb) Webster Smith, age 75 of 334 South Cave Spring Street, 
Cedartown passed away Tuesday afternoon at Polk General Hospital, Mr. Smith was 
born May 15, 1903 in Polk County, Georgia and had lived most of his life in 
Polk County.  He was a member of the Second Baptist Church and a retired 
employee of Pickett Chevrolet Company.  Survivors include; his wife, the former 
Miss Stella Sheffield of Cedartown; two daughters, Mrs. John H. Chandler of 
Winder, Ga., Mrs. Hal Leutholt of
Marietta, Ga.; four sisters, Mrs. Bob Whitehead, Mrs. Alex Stephenson, Mrs. 
Ralph Stephens and Mrs. Bob Wood, all of Cedartown; five grandchildren also 
survive.   Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Second Baptist 
Church with the Rev. Larry Conner and Rev. Buddy York officiating.  Interment 
followed in Northview Cemetery.  Pallbearers were; Doyle Chandler, Ralph 
Stephens, Jr., L. A. Stephens, Darryl Stephens, Rev. Horace Sheffield, Barron 
Nix, Earnest Stephens, John Pickett.  The Men's Bible Class of Second Baptist 
Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.  The Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home 
of Cedartown was in charge of the arrangements. (Cedartown Standard, Tuesday,
