Mrs. Dollie Virginia Wood, age 80, of Route 1, Cedartown, passed away Sunday, 
July 6, 1986 in Higgins General Hospital in Bremen, Ga.  Mrs. Wood was born 
July 12, 1906 in Polk County.  She was a member of the Second Baptist Church.  
Survivors include one son, Mr. Herman Wood of Cedartown; three daughters, Mrs. 
Ellis Yarbrough of Cedartown, Mrs. J. C. Chambers of Morrow, GA., Mrs. Cecil 
Blair of Porterdale, GA.; three sisters, Mrs. Argus Stephens, Mrs. Bessie 
Stephenson, Mrs. Louise Whitehead, all of Cedartown; six grandchildren and 
eight great-grandchildren also survive.  Funeral services were held at 3:00 
p.m. Tuesday, July 8 in the chapel of the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home with 
the Rev. Grady Kines, the Rev. Sam Davis officiating.  Interment followed in 
New Harmony Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Jimmy Chambers, Edward Yarbrough, Tommy 
Jackson, Buddy Yarbrough, Steve Yarbrough, Gorden Kellett.  The Lester C. 
Litesey Funeral Home of Cedartown was in charge of the arrangements. (The
