Family Member
Death came suddenly and unexpected to Mrs. Alice Hudgins 78, last Sunday 
morning at 4 o'clock at the residence, Esom Hill Ga. Rt. 1.  Funeral services 
were held Tuesday morning at Salem Baptist Church, the Rev. Clinton 
officiating. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery. Usrey directing.  
Surviving are the husband, Bose Hudgins, three sons, J. T. Smith, Esom Hill, 
Ga., Bill Smith, Baton Rouge, La. and Frank Hudgins, Ringold, Ga., seven 
daughters, Mrs. Minnie Brown, Meridian, Miss, Mrs Lizzie Sneeden, Birmingham; 
Mrs. Frances Mann, Birmingham, Mrs. Annie Dill, Rome, Ga.; Mrs. Essie Green, 
Cedartown, Ga., Mrs. Bessie Haney, Cedartown, Ga., and Mrs. Bonnie Boman, Esom 
Hill, Ga.; 42 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren. 

Additional Comments:
Wife of William Anderson Smith, second marriage to Bose Hudgins. Daughter of 
Munday and Sara Rouse Robershaw.
