Mrs. Belle Smith, age 95 of 120 School Lane passed away Friday Morning in a 
Rome Hospital.  She was born June 23, 1891 in Resaca, GA., member of the 
Mountain Home Baptist Church and was a retired Goodyear employee.  Survivors 
include two daughters, Mrs. Frances Farmer of Cedartown, Mrs. Viola McElwee of 
Rome; 128 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.  
Funeral Services were held at 4:00 P.M. from the chapel of the Gammage Funeral 
Home with the Rev. Earl Anderson, the Rev. A. J. Carr officiating.  Interment 
followed in Jackson Chapel Cemetery. The Gammage Funeral Home of Cedartown was
