Richard Lee Alsbrook, 62, 51 Lanham Rd., Aragon, died January 16, 2004. Mr. 
Alsbrook was born October 22, 1941 in Tuscumbia, Alabama, son of the late 
Virgil Alsbrook and Melba Wilson Alsbrook. He was a member of the Van Wert 
Baptist Church, and a retired employee of General Motors Corporation with 27 
years service. Surviving are wife, Virginia Waits Alsbrook, Aragon; daughter, 
Tera Collier, Rockmart; sons, Scotty Alsbrook, Aragon, Ral Alsbrook, Charlotte, 
NC; sister, Barbara Bullion, Sheffield, AL; brothers, Bill Caudill, Sheffield, 
AL, Jim Caudill, Chunky, Mississippi, Buster Caudill, Crossville, TN, Roger 
Caudill, Dallas, Texas; five grandchildren. The funeral service was conducted 
at 3 p.m. Sunday, January 18, 2004 in the Free-man Harris Funeral Home with 
Rev. Danny English, Rev. Kinney Sisson, and Rev. Paul Wigley officiating. 
Interment was held in the family lot of the Floyd Creek Baptist Church 
Cemetery. Pallbearers were J.R. Waits, Hansel Waits, Ned Ingle, Leland Caudill, 
Joe Rayburn and Bobby Robinson. Freeman Harris Funeral Home had charge of
