Mary Ruth Beck, 66, of 105 Branch Rd., Cedartown, passed away Sunday, May 25, 
2003. She was born January 22, 1937. She was preceded in death by her parents, 
Romie and Tessie Mae Cook, and a brother, Jimmy Cook. Survivors include 
husband, Floyd “Gene” Beck; daughters, Tina Sullivan and Judy Watson; brothers, 
Ervin Cook, Bobby Joe Cook, Buck Cook, Ricky Cook; sisters, Sarah Carver, Dot 
Adams, Mildred Cook, Betty Gilmore, Jeanette Collins, Ruby John Cox; and eight 
grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, May 28, 2003 at 2 
p.m. at Eastview Baptist Church with Rev. Reginald Campbell and Bro. Joey 
Colquitt officiating. Interment followed in Eastview Cemetery. Pallbearers were 
Daryl Waters, Dan Stewart, Jabbar James Beck, Robert Moore, Gerald Green, and 
Cliff Burnham. Honorary pallbearers were James Green, Michael Beck, and David 
Little. Gammage Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. (Cedartown
