Auddive Estelle Byrd, 91, of 763 Medical Center Pkwy., Boaz, Ala., formerly of 
Cedartown, passed away Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003. She was born May 11, 1911 in 
Haralson County, Ga. And was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was 
preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph R. Byrd; and her son, 
Joseph H. Byrd. She is survived by her son, Charles W. Byrd of Lexington, TN.; 
three grandchildren, Jon Scott Byrd, Michael D. Byrd and Stephanie Byrd 
Christian; four great grandchildren also survive. Graveside services for 
Auddive Estelle Byrd were conducted Monday, Jan. 20, 2003 at 11 a.m. in the 
Polk Memory Gardens with the Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating. The interment 
followed in the Polk Memory Gardens cemetery. The Lester C. Litesey Funeral 
Home had charge of the arrangements. (The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA.,
