Ruby Lean Callahan, 65 of 456 S. Marble St., Rockmart, passed away Tuesday, 
March 18, 2003. She was born March 16, 1938 in Pickens County. She was preceded 
in death by: parents, Pauline Jones Brown and Chester David Brown; first 
husband, Ray Blackmon; and sons, Larry and Lamar Blackmon. Survivors include: 
husband, Roy Callahan; daughters, Margaret Burnley and Reba McDonald; brothers, 
Harry and Raymond Brown; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. A 
memorial service was held Wednesday, March 19 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the 
Freeman Harris Funeral Home. Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of the
